She checked her practically dead and crappy clock, 10:00am; Mandy would be at work by now. “I should probably go to work…” she yawned and arose. She took off her shirt and sweats, only in underwear. She lazily dragged herself to the bathroom and brushed her hair and teeth. “That mark’s still there…Great, I’ll have to wear a scarf today so no one gets up in my face.” Sophie never was a person to tolerate nosy people with their annoying questions. “How did I get home last night?” Sophie queried.
“Oh, some guy brought you home after you went drinking last night. Said you had been drinking too much, so he carried you home and you fell asleep,” Mandy said.
